The Savannas Preserve State Park Annual Photo Contest
The Friends of Savannas Preserve State Park invite all park visitors to enter its annual photo contest! Grab your camera, come have fun in natural Florida, and help share our park’s beauty through your lens. The emphasis of photographs should be on showing native species, natural landscapes, and people enjoying the Savannas.
Entries will be accepted from October 1, 2012 through October 28, 2012.
Photographs will be judged by an award-winning professional photographer. Ribbons will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners in each category, as well as a cash prize to the winner for "Best in Show."
Photographs will be on display in the Savannas Preserve Education Center (2541 Walton Road, Port St. Lucie) for the month of November. Between October 29th and November 3rd, members of the Friends of Savannas Preserve State Park may vote for the People’s Choice Award. Only those whose memberships are current during that week will be eligible to vote in this category.

All awards will be announced at a reception for all photographers in the Education Center on November 4th at 5:00 p.m. Entrants need not be present to win.
